Irish Charities
As an Irish company, CuPooch is committed to supporting our community and making a positive impact. We proudly partner with, and support a number of dog charities across Ireland, helping them continue their vital work. Here are some of the wonderful organisations we work with.
MADRA
Based in Connemara, Co Galway, MADRA has worked to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome several thousand unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs across the west coast of Ireland and beyond since 2005. When dogs come under their care, they'll go to the kennels or into a foster home. They’ll be microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated and following assessment, the team works to find loving homes for every rescued dog. Their work doesn’t stop there. Once a MADRA dog, always MADRA supported – they provide ongoing training support and advice as needed. MADRA works hard to help prevent dogs needing to come into rescue in the first place. They fund neutering campaigns to help stop unplanned litters of puppies and looking to the future, they hold workshops for children across schools in Galway teaching them about responsible dog ownership and safety around dogs. MADRA's ultimate aim is that they are no longer needed and with your support, will work harder than ever to try to achieve that.
